The AMX-40 series are great ambush tanks on the defensive but they will disappoint you if you need them to take any hits.Over the past 500 years, France has been a major power with strong cultural, economic, military and political influence in Europe and around the world.

In a french national deck if you lose your leclercs or cannot afford to buy one you dont really have any other "tanky" (survivable tanks) to support your pushes. Weaknesses, playing eurocorps is often easier they get alot of benefits marder1 PzGrs of infantry grinds, the lars 2 is a top tier mlrs with a very fast rate of fire of stunning the enemy before an attack, Germany also provides Eurocorp with medium tanks. Use it to consolidate your position but dont forget to bring a mortar to smoke it. In a unspec deck, you do not only get fantastic motorised units, but also some solid mechanised ones most importantly - the Leclerc. Your playstyle should be to win the opening, and from doing so seize strategic locations (towns/forests), hold off the enemys mechanised force with milan3s and legion. Other units the gazelle canon, panther helo transport and crotale are also top tier and lend themselves to a fast opener. Quite simply they are the strongest motorised firesupport vehicle in the game and thus tend to win any opening engagement against similar motorised forces.

You have excellent motorised units, AMX-10 recon and tank variants are infamous. Salut, may i just complement your friend on his excellent taste truely a connoisseur.
